Persistent low mood brings with it a host of physical symptoms as well as emotional and mental ones: digestive problems, head tension, and MUSCLE SORENESS OR TENSION can be some of the most common.
A slowness in movements, reduced level of activity, and low energy can affect the health of our muscles, joints, and the circulation. For those with chronic issues, these may have been the precursor to a mental health issue.
Being more active—spending time outside, walking, etc.—can do much to improve the mood and get the circulation moving in the muscles and around the joints.
Of course, physical pain may also be masking emotional pain too.
Essential Oils not only comfort the mind but can also support occasional soreness and tension in the body. These Essential Oils include:
• Deep Blue
• Aroma Touch
• Lemongrass
• Marjoram
• Ginger
• Black Pepper
• Siberian Fir
• Copaiba
• Lavender
• Peppermint
Deep Blue is soothing, cooling, and comforting to the whole body; emotionally, it helps to support acceptance and encourages strength. A blend of Wintergreen, Camphor, Peppermint, Ylang Ylang, Helichrysum, Blue Tansy, Blue Chamomile, and Osmanthus, Deep Blue is perfect for a relaxing and soothing massage.
PRACTICAL USES
• Apply on feet and knees before and after exercise.
