STEP 6 – PROLONGED SADNESS

broken image

Feeling sad, down, or miserable MOST of the time, coupled with a disinterest in usually enjoyable activities that lasts for more than two weeks—this can be an indication of declining mental health.

This is not just a case of SADNESS, but a medical issue that needs ongoing support.

Anxious feelings, apathy, mood swings, and general discontent can also be experienced. Repetitive negative thought patterns are common.

Essential Oils that comfort and dispel feelings of sadness, as well as those that elevate the mood, can all be beneficial. These include:

• Lavender

• Melissa

• Litsea

• Rose

• Neroli

• Wild Orange

• Cheer

• Elevation

• Console

Console is a mix of floral Essential Oils of Ylang Ylang, Rose, and Osmanthus, and tree Essential Oils of Frankincense, Labdanum, Amyris, and Sandalwood. These promote feelings of comfort and hope and help to dispel sad feelings and counteract negative emotions of grief and hopelessness.

• Apply over the heart morning and night as a reminder to be patient with healing and to think positive thoughts.
